At its recent Executive Meeting the AUC formally welcomed four new members. These are:

Australian Catholic University - With multiple campuses around Australia including Brisbane (Queensland), North Sydney and Strathfield, (New South Wales), Canberra (ACT), Ballarat and Melbourne (Victoria), ACU offers the benefits of small, friendly campuses and small class sizes, and students have direct access to highly qualified lecturers and quality student support services.

Auckland University of Technology - New Zealand’s newest university – but their history in industry-relevant education is over 110 years old. AUT have nearly 24,000 students across 3 campuses in Auckland, Manukau and North Shore cities.

University of Auckland - Founded in 1883, Auckland is now the country’s largest university with 38,500 students, nearly 10,000 of whom graduate annually. The main campus is in the heart of Auckland city and they have four specialist campuses.

University of Otago - Based on the South Island in Dunedin and founded in 1869 by an ordinance of the Otago Provincial Council, Otago is New Zealand's oldest university. Since 1961, when its roll was about 3,000, the University has expanded considerably (in 2002 there were some 18,000 students enrolled) and has broadened its range of courses.

We welcome the staff and students of our newest members and encourage them to participate in all the AUC events and activities that are available to them.
