/dev/world/ is our conference for students and staff of AUC member Universities who have an interest in developing for Apple computers and Apple mobile devices.
The conference sessions cover a wide range of topics including the iOS SDK, Mac OS X frameworks, and the Xcode toolchain. The conference also gives developers plenty of opportunities to meet and network with other AUC members, and learn about projects they are working on.
| Please note that attendance is strictly limited to current staff and enrolled students of an AUC Member University. This conference is not open to the general public. |
Audience
/dev/world/ is aimed specifically at students and staff in AUC member Universities who are developing software, teaching software development or have a personal interest. In order to get the most from the event it is recommended participants have experience in at least one programming language (such as Python, Objective C, or C++) and are familiar with programming concepts such as Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Some experience using Mac OS X and developer tools will be an advantage but is not essential.
