About /dev/world

Australia’s longest-running conference for OS X and iOS developers and designers, /dev/world/2017, returns to Melbourne for its tenth anniversary! We’ve been working for years to build a community that also welcomes tinkerers, artists and scientists. Software isn’t just about making money with in-app purchases—come and see a wider world.

The conference sessions cover a wide range of topics including the iOS SDK, OS X frameworks, Apple and third-party development tools, and open source software. The conference also provides developers with an opportunity to meet and network with others working in the same space.

/dev/world is open to the public and will be held at the RMIT Swanston Academic Building, 80/445 Swanston St, Melbourne, from August 28 – August 30, 2017.

Stay tuned for more details about the conference, including talks, special guests, and registration details.

Delegates are encouraged to bring a Macintosh laptop with Mac OS X 10.12 Sierra and the latest version of Xcode installed.  We cannot provide loan equipment for delegates.
