You are invited to this free event to see how lecturers and students in business schools are using mobile devices and digital content to create, collaborate, innovate and communicate. Hear how business schools such as MIT’s Sloan Business School and Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School have empowered their students with iPads, enhancing their preparation for business careers. One of the three presenters works with these clients and is well informed from his doctoral and postdoctoral experience at UCLA, Cambridge and Oxford.
Mobility is revolutionising the way consumers and enterprises operate and interact – hear from a corporate and government specialist how iPad and iPhone are impacting the value chain in leading ASX 200 and Global 500 companies.
Other areas to be examined include:
- How access to mobile devices and digital content is reshaping the business education classroom.
- Demonstrations of apps that are enhancing collaboration, data analysis, project management, research and more.
- How easy-to-use tools such as iLife and iBooks Author enable staff to create interactive learning materials.
- How academics are using iTunes U to deliver business course materials that students can access on iPad.
Although not a requirement, a number of hands-on activities are planned, so feel free to bring your iPad.
